CHEAP CHERRIES

We love cherries, and they are normally pricey, but today at Meijer I found a whole big bag of them reduced for $1.24. I was hoping the bag would not be full of rotten cherries when we got home, and we were all surprised and happy, and enjoyed a huge bag of cherries for a fraction of the cost.

MARKED DOWN CASCADIAN FARM GRANOLA BARS

Try checking out marked down boxes of Cascadian Farm granola bars at the end of your Meijer aisle. I found boxes marked down to $1.80 and I had $1.00 coupons, getting these great granola bars for .80 a box.

.39 LYSOL CLEANERS

Anybody want Lysol Cleaner for .39? In this weekends paper there was a lot of Lysol coupons for .50 which Meijer doubles to $1.00. Lysol is 1/2 off at Meijer this week and most cleaners are $1.39 at my Meijer, making them .39 a bottle. I stocked up on kitchen and bath cleaners, I also had some coupons that expire at the end of June, so look through your coupon stash and see if you can find even more!

CLEARANCE ON FOOD ITEMS AT MEIJER.

Be on the lookout for clearance tags at Meijer they are red tags with an arrow pointing to the direction of the item. I was shopping and found many clearance items that I could just not pass up. Here are a few of the exceptional deals I came across.....

CHEAP SUPERPRETZELS @ MEIJER

While shopping at Meijer yesterday I noticed SuperPretzels were 1/2 off= $1.34. I looked through my coupon binder and had (4) .75 off coupons! Making them .59 a box. My kids love the cheese filled ones:)

This week at Meijer the Super Pretzel (all varieties) are on sale foe 1/2 off = $1.39. There are coupons for $1.00 off 1 box with recent months. I had 5 of them and got 5 boxes of Super Pretzels for .39 a box!

The Mozzarella cheese stuffed soft pretzels are very good!

.76 GALLON MILK!

This week Kroger is having their gallon milk on sale for $1.99, but I went to Meijer last night and their were plenty mark downs on 2% and Vitamin D galllon milk for .76 ! They have an expiration date of 3/4/09, plenty of time to drink it. I thought $1.99 was a good price, but you can't beat .76.

THIS WEEK AT MEIJER

I frequently get a coupon with my receipt at Meijer that is $6.00 off an $80.00 purchase of groceries. Today my total was $81.00 , so I used that coupon first, then all my others and the total came down to$62.37!

Had I not used the $6.00 off $80.00 coupon first, the machine would not have let me use it. So keep that in mind when you insert your coupons.

MEIJER DEALS

There is a great special at Meijer this week, I bought 3 boxes of Fiber One bars for $2.00 a piece, I had a .50 coupon for each one making them $1.00 a box, then at the register I got a $1.50 coupon for my next visit because I bought 3 General Mills products of granola bars. So I basically got 3 boxes for $1.50!!

Also there is Chex mix on sale for $1.00, use a .50 coupon and stock up on some FREE Chex Mix, I love doing that. Check out the coupon printables on the right side of this page, there may be a Chex Mix one left.

Another deal worth mentioning is the Hormel Chili this comes in a glass jar and is quite good, it is on sale for $2.50 and there is a .50 coupon in Jan inserts making this $1.50 a jar.

MEIJER WEEK OF FEB 1

I just got back from Meijer to pick up a few things and they had their Meijer brand 10 for 10, 11th is FREE.

Luckily I had stocked up last week, because other than the 10 for $10.00 deal I did not feel that my coupons matched up on many already sale items. I do recommend you look in the refridgerated juice section, my Meijer had marked down Tropicana Tropical Punch for .60, with an expiration date of Feb 7.

MEIJER WEEK OF JAN 25TH

This week there are a few good deals at Meijer worth mentioning, I haven't ventured out to Kroger yet this week, so I will update on that later this week. Anyhow here are some deals I scored at Meijer.....

Pepperidge Farm swirl bread (reg $3.59) on sale for $1.79 (use .50 coupon January insert)= .79 I stocked up on three of these and put two in the freezer, as I had three coupons.

Palmolive dish soap $1.29 (use.50 coupon Dec insert)= .29 dish soap.

Eckrich sausage $1.65(use $1.00 off 2 January insert)=$2.30 for 2 packs. (think Big Game Day)

Nabisco crackers 2 for $4.00 (use $2.oo off 2 coupon January insert)= 2 for $2.00 this was a great deal you can get Sociables, Wheat Thins, Triscuits, Better Cheddar etc..

.25 MUSTARD AT MEIJER

Okay, let's just say im glad I stocked up on certain items last week when Meijer had awesome deals.

There was nothing that got me to excited this week, however French's mustard and spicy mustard are on sale for $1.25. There were (2)coupons for .50 in Sunday's paper, making them .25 a piece. It is a nice week to stock up on mustard if you have multiple coupons (think summer bbq's:)

Stock up on FREE Green Giant Steamer veggies, they are .79 and there are several .50 and $1.00 coupons making them owe you more than .20 a bag. I have 6 of these coupons so I will make over $1.20!!! Also Aunt Millies bread is on sale for $1.00 there was a .50 coupon this weekend making a loaf of bread FREE.

FREE CREAMER AT MEIJER

This week certain CoffeeMate creamers are .99, there was a .50 coupon in a recent ad. Lucky for me I got 4 papers that weekend, and now 4 FREE creamers!!
The flavors I got were 2 Pumpkin Spice,Peppermint and Eggnog.
