For the last few weeks Kroger has had their pies on sale for $2.99. These pies taste homemade, and with an oven that is not working, I have enjoyed these homemade tasting pies. They are normally $4.99, so a $2.00 savings! Freeze them for Easter or enjoy with company, they really are homemade tasting.

ARBY'S FREE SANDWICHES

I have been enjoying FREE Roastburger sandwiches at Arby's this past month, Although this new coupon is not completely FREE, you just have to buy a beverage and an order of Fries. These sandwiches are delicious!!!

I had so much fun this morning getting things FREE, you might ask how did I do this? I shopped KMart, and they are AGAIN doing super double coupons up to and including $2.00 !!!!!!! I LOVE this sale, it helps me stock up on shampoo, toothpaste, medicine, lotion and other things for FREE. Here is a list of some of the goodies I picked up.........(I used coupons I have been clipping, to get these items free, remember KMart takes a $2.00 coupon and you get $4.00 off that item!

This week with all the FREE toothpaste, (Meijer - Crest) and (Kroger .25 Colgate) I have to encourage everyone to clip those coupons and stock up on these necessities. I still have 4 bottles of shampoo from last summer, it is coming up on a year since I have bought shampoo because of my great stockpile.

KITCHEN CABINET REMEDY

I thought it would be fun to share some remedies straight from the kitchen cabinets. Last week
I started to feel heaviness in my chest similar to the feeling of bronchitis. I researched some homeopathic alternatives to treat this "phlemy feeling" in my chest and throat. The findings were interesting and worked! Here is what I did.

Drank 1/2 teaspoon of onion juice(breaks down and thins out the phlem)

Drank tea with ground ginger(ginger helps for fevers)

Took a hot steamy bath (sweat helps fight infection)

Ate almond (Almonds are good for congestion)

I have a real interest for natural remedies, so this was fun to try. You think back in the old days, they did not have antibiotics. So this is really interesting to me.
How about you, have any of you tried some alternatives to the doctors and antibiotics? I'd love to hear.
